Paris, 300,000 dogs, hundreds of care providers. How do you find the one who will genuinely look after your pet?
The Different Types of Pet Care
Traditional Kennels
Collective facilities suit very sociable animals but often lack personalisation and can be hard to access in a dense urban environment.
Pet-Sitting with Individuals
The home atmosphere is appealing, but quality is highly variable. Training, experience and care conditions are difficult to assess without thorough research.
Home Visits
Ideal for cats and animals attached to their environment. The frequency of visits must match the animal's actual needs.
Matching Platforms
Convenient at first glance, but without quality guarantees or a safety net.
Questions to Ask Before Choosing
- Who will actually be caring for my pet, and what are their qualifications?
- Can specific veterinary treatments and dietary requirements be managed?
- Is there regular communication with photos and updates?
The Pet Cheri Approach
A single point of contact, a 35-question profile to match your pet with the ideal professional, veterinary assistants for complex cases, and real-time communication throughout.
