Canine massage is a practice that has proven effective in optimizing the well-being of our furry friends. Through the experience of Mélanie and her beloved dog Malka, discover how this technique can transform your doggo's well-being.
“I discovered canine massage thanks to my little dog, Malka. Like many small dogs, Malka developed a knee weakness and early arthritis before the age of 5, likely due to her difficult past. Although it wasn’t actively painful, she showed signs of stiffness, especially after long walks.”
I had the chance to meet Marion, a certified professional masseuse from the Pet Cheri network, and introduce her to Malka. From the start, Malka loved the massages! Her reaction when Marion arrives—immediately rolling onto her back with her paws in the air—shows how much she enjoys these moments of well-being. After each session, Malka is relaxed and more comfortable in her movements.
We are proud of our exclusive partnership with the Association Les Masseurs Canins, which brings together certified professional masseuses in France. Their rigorous training under Pauline Arnt from the Chien-Zen school, a pioneer in canine massage in France, ensures high-quality expertise. As ambassadors of animal well-being, it is our duty to promote this still little-known practice and make it accessible to all pet owners.
Massage for humans has existed for nearly 5000 years BC! However, it wasn’t until 1995 that Jonathan Rudinger adapted massage techniques for dogs in the United States. In 2007, Pauline Arnt introduced canine massage to France and founded the Chien-Zen association the following year to share her knowledge.
